Follow the A87 across the Skye Bridge (toll free) at Kyle of Lochalsh. Once on Skye keep on the A87 until Sligachan where you will take a left hand turn onto the A863 to Dunvegan. After approximately 20 miles you will enter the village of Dunvegan, where there is a white church on the left, immediately after which you will turn left onto the B884 signposted Glendale (this is a single track road).  Follow this road for approximately 4.5 miles, passing through the village of Skinidin, following which you will arrive in Colbost. As you enter Colbost you'll see The Three Chimneys Restaurant on the left, carry on along the main road for approximately half a mile and on the left you'll see a lane with a very sharp turning up a steep hill signposted 'Upper Colbost' (if you come to the signpost for Colbost Jetty you have missed the turning and gone too far!). Take this turning and you will find us after approximately half a mile, towards the end of the lane on the right. There is a shared driveway up to the property, but guests then follow the drive around the front of the house to their own private parking area to the side of the annexe.

For visitors wishing to take the ferry across to Skye, Caledonian MacBrayne run a regular car ferry from Mallaig on the mainland to Armadale (in the South of Skye). Alternatively, why not try the community owned Skye Ferry from Glenelg to Kylerhea. Follow the links below to view timetables etc.
